We are currently seeking someone to join our supervisory team. The role of the Supervisor is to help individuals with an intellectual disability/mental health reach their goals, develop skills and provide support as required by running the Day-to-Day Operations in a dining facility setting. Supervisors offer daily support to program participants while developing and maintaining a direct report with the Project Manager. The position is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and unique environment that fosters growth and rehabilitation and facilitates the development of independent and self-help skills of each individual. Supervisors are responsible for training, planning, supervising, and coordinating the worksite. As well as ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• High school degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
