Warren Recruits is Hiring a Terminal Manager Near Charleston, SC

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Terminal Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the efficient and effective management of our terminal facility. As a Terminal Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of terminal operations, including profit and loss management, logistics coordination, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all terminal operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, materials handling, and warehouse management system utilization.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize terminal efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead a team of terminal staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Experience in profit loss management to drive cost-effective operations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline inventory control processes.
- Ability to effectively manage transportation planning to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Experience in materials handling techniques for efficient movement of products within the terminal facility.
- Strong negotiation skills for contract sourcing and vendor management.

Qualifications:
- Prior managerial experience within intermodal industry.
- Proven experience in terminal or warehouse management roles.
