Position Overview
We are looking for an Intern to assist our growing Accounting team!
We are fully moved into our new building in North Miami. This is a PAID internship that is eligible for a permanent position. The Accounting Intern will be responsible in compiling, preparing and verifying data for use in maintaining accounting records as well as performing a wide range of administrative duties to support the accounting department.Responsibilities
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Assists in balancing account spreadsheets; matches and defines discrepancies between payments and amounts billed in system.
- Maintains accounting department files and records.
- Enters information into accounting data entry system.
- Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing.
Qualifications
- US Work Authorization required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
