- Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
- Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice
- Maintain the standards of care for the unit
- Review Resident records & quality of care
- Monitor overall care & review individual Residents' cases
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
- Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management
- Must hold valid State RN License
- 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs. The Warren Center is a nonprofit agency that advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities. We help children to reach their developmental goals through individualized therapy-based care and equip parents through monthly education workshops and support groups so they can be a confident advocate for their child. Our services include speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, developmental services, nutrition as well as family education and support. With nowhere to turn for community-based services or help, families lacked support and their children had limited options in life. The Warren Center was created in 1968 and for decades, we have provided much-needed resources and care to children with disabilities and their families. Grassroots efforts and proven successes paved the way for an increase in community and parental awareness. As our organization experienced growth, we began adapting our programs to meet the changing needs of families. Over the years, The Warren Center has given parents access to the resources their children needed, and more importantly, hope and support.
