We are looking for a friendly part time veterinary receptionist/technician for our office. The receptionist position duties include: taking client calls, relaying messages to and from doctors and other staff members, scheduling appointments, taking payment for services and purchases, checking in appointments and getting patients placed in exam rooms in a timely manner, scheduling surgical procedures, answering client questions and many other duties as needed to provide excellent patient and client care.

The veterinary technician duties may include performing an initial evaluation of the animal's condition, clean and wrap wounds, check vital statistics, collect samples and administer medication. The duties also include performing basic lab work, including urinalysis and blood tests. As a veterinary technician you will also help during patient examinations and surgical procedures by restraining animals when necessary, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilizing tools and ensuring that equipment is in working order. Knowledge of cornerstone veterinary software is a plus. Veterinary technician/reception experience is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Weekends as needed

• High school or equivalent (Required)
