Warm Springs Surgical Center is a state-of-the-art, world-renowned, freestanding, outpatient, ambulatory surgery center specializing in bariatric procedures.

PACU RN Per Diem Position

Warm Springs Surgical Center is seeking a dynamic Per Diem PACU RN for various coverage. Strong experience in PACU is vital. We are looking for an organized, caring, and compassionate individual who works well with all levels of staff and is good with patients. RNs work 8-12-hour days. Saturdays may have 1-2 hours available on a rotating basis.

Essential Duties:

• Assesses and monitors patient's condition before/after surgery
• Develops, implements, and evaluates nursing plan of care
• Assesses patient's and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education
• Provides quality care in a compassionate and professional manner
• Demonstrates skills required to care for post-anesthesia patients in accordance with standards of practice
• Administers medications
• OR Circulator
• Documents patient care accurately and according to policy
• Determines when patients meet discharge criteria

Must have:

• Possession of a current RN license in the State of Nevada
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current BLS Certification
