Warm Beach Senior Community is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near Stanwood, WA

Life is good at the beach!

Warm Beach Senior Community (WBSC) , non-profit ministry of the Free Methodist Church with 57 years of service to the elderly and the community. We are looking a facilities technician/Maintenance to join our team!

Full Time position

Hours 7:30-4:00 pm. Sunday-Thursday

Qualifications:

· 1-2 year's facilities tech/maintenance, preferably in a multi-complex setting

· 1 year handyman construction, finish carpentry, painting required.

Time management is essential to this position. Must be able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines to meet move in dates of future residents. Must be able to adjust shift (only when necessary) when working on bigger projects that may interfere with resident’s daily activities. Must be a self-starter who will work independently or the ability to work cohesively with other staff. Must be able to communicate material needs prior to necessity with facilities coordinator so timelines are not interrupted by lack of product. This position will have daily interactions with seniors in their home setting so necessary to be able to communicate and respect their home and space without conflict while ensuring their safety from hazardous materials or equipment.
