**Technical Manager, Architecture & Interior Design**

Irvine, CA / Studio CAP / Full-Time Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Technical manager to join our team in Irvine, CA!

The Technical Manager is a key position at Ware Malcomb, responsible for internal management and quality control of Architecture and Interior Design projects. This position will be a lead a lead technical resource and will become well versed in WM standards and documentation.

**Project Production Leader Responsibilities:**

Master Ware Malcomb general and regional production standards.

Attend internal kickoff meetings with the production teams, provide feedback to Project Managers and the production teams about missing information or lack of scope definition.

Set the tone for proper project documentation. Suggest milestone review sessions as needed per complexity of the project.

Perform code and accessibility reviews of projects to protect the firm and limit liability.

Perform constructability reviews and suggest alternatives as needed. Review all project details both standard and specific and provide sketches for missing details.

Perform final quality control of documents and communicate a list of undefined scope elements or missing information to the production teams and ultimately to the Project Managers.

Collaborate with Production Managers to prepare and present at monthly educational programs. Act as a mentor to all junior staff involved in production.

When requested by Production Managers, provide peer review of construction sets, perform thorough consultant coordination and provide detail sketches for missing conditions.

**Project Production Leader Qualifications:**

Preferred minimum of 10 years of experience within the field of Architecture or Interior Design.

Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Knowledge of model and state building codes as well as accessibility standards both state and federal.

Experience in construction and detailing.

Experience in the use of Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Ganttic, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Preferred equivalent of a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
