Summary of Position:
This position focuses on the supervision function of on-site services to WARDJet customers including machine installations, service calls and warranty visits.
Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
· Maintain an ongoing installation schedule balancing installer skills, availability and job requirements with specific focus on the customer and the technician’s personal status.
· Manage the total capacity of installers (includes others available) to fulfill WARDJet’s requirements and enable the regular rotation of personnel.
· Communicate with the installation team as and when required to ensure smooth and professional outcomes.
· Resolve (manage) all installation problems effectively utilizing the total WARDJet team available.
· Create standardization of the installation processes. Installers are one of our primary “face to the customer” roles and critical to our continued sales growth.
· Ensuring corrective actions identified in the field are implemented effectively.
· Ensuring that the installation and service process is documented, and signed off in report form for timeous invoicing.
· Creating standardized, ongoing training for our installation team and maintaining the skills matrix.
· Perform on-site installations and service visits (both domestic and international) as needed.
· Functions in Technical Support as and when required.
· Represent WARDJet professionally in all respects.
· Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Minimum of an Associate degree, technical school, or equivalent experience.
· Familiar with CNC controllers.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Basic electrical, plumbing, and fabrication skills.
· Excellent computer hardware and software knowledge.
· Ability to read and follow drawings accurately.
· Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand.
· Strong training skills.
· Attention to detail and a desire for quality.
· Willing to work in a shop environment.
· Able to think logically and troubleshoot problems.
· Ability to follow directions and complete tasks.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Dependable and trustworthy.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to successful completion.
Other Requirements:
· Regular attendance is required. The employee is required physically to be at the WARDJet facility during their scheduled work hours unless approved otherwise by their supervisor.
· A valid driver’s license.
· Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
· Able to sit for long periods.
· Able to use the computer for long periods.
· Able to stand for long periods.
· Sufficient mobility to perform job successfully.
· Comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
· Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.
· Able and willing to work overtime with little to no forewarning.
· Able to run an overhead crane and operate a forklift.
· Maintain a valid passport.
· Able to rent a car.
· Approximately 50% of the job will be travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
