Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality medical care to a wide variety of animals. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, providing preventive care, and educating pet owners on proper animal care.

Duties:
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for animals based on their individual needs
- Perform surgeries, including spaying/neutering, tumor removals, and orthopedic procedures
- Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases
- Provide emergency medical care to injured or critically ill animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, exercise, and preventive measures
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure the well-being of animals
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education seminars

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pet care, including nutrition, behavior, and preventive measures
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the veterinarian and the animal
- Experience in dog training to address behavioral issues and promote positive interactions between pets and their owners
- Familiarity with practice management software for efficient record keeping and appointment scheduling
- Ability to perform basic pet grooming tasks such as nail trims and ear cleanings
- Knowledge of equine medicine for the treatment of horses and other large animals
- Excellent animal handling skills to minimize stress during examinations and procedures
- Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain sterile surgical environments
- Familiarity with kennel operations for the proper care of boarding animals
- Skilled in laboratory techniques for analyzing blood samples, conducting urinalysis, and performing other diagnostic tests
