Ward Edwards Engineering is Hiring a Project Manager Near Bluffton, SC

Ward Edwards Engineering is a land development Civil Engineering firm headquartered in Bluffton, SC. Our work encompasses all phases of site development from project feasibility through design and permitting to construction monitoring. We engage in a wide range of projects including commercial development, residential, institutional, and municipal work, primarily focused within the coastal South Carolina and Georgia area. Ward Edwards Engineering is seeking a project manager to lead various land development projects. A successful candidate would be team-oriented, technology-confident, attentive to detail, organized, and driven.

Main Job Roles

  • Land Planning/ Site Layout
  • Review water, sanitary sewer, paving, grading, drainage, and erosion control designs
  • Oversee stormwater models and calculation reports
  • Provide technical engineering guidance and mentoring
  • Manage project budgets and permitting schedules
  • Supervise and develop a design team
  • Lead communication with permitting entities, sub-consultants, clients, and contractors
  • Prepare client project proposals
  • Negotiate and secure client project contracts
  • Forecast project workload for a small design team
  • Deliver excellence and delight on client projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program
  • Competent in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Licensed professional engineer, strongly preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
