We provide comprehensive emergency vehicle equipment and lighting installations. We offer the services needed to ensure emergency vehicles and police cars are outfitted to be field-ready including computer docks, sirens, vehicle gun racks as well as prisoner transport and ballistic door panels.

Job Summary

We are looking to add full-time installers to our upfitting team. If you enjoy working electronics, on cars and strive to provide high-quality workmanship, then we want you on our team! We are looking for skilled, energetic, and hard-working vehicle upfitters who are eager to provide state-of-the-art equipment to those who serve our community.

Responsibilities for the Vehicle Electronics Installer

• Installing necessary equipment to modify vehicles into emergency and police vehicles. (Routing and installing wire, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles.)
• Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles
• Ensure quality installations
• Rewire factory vehicle electrical systems
• Fix and install hardware
• Meet production deadlines
• Problem Solving
• Document projects, maintain accurate records, find efficiencies while respecting quality, and correspond information to the client and internal staff appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current, valid Arizona Driver's License
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic auto mechanic skills and basic 12V electrical wiring skills required
• Attention to Detail – Comprehend basic written and verbal instructions and act on these instructions accordingly
• Understand wiring diagrams and assembly instructions for products
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
• EVT Certification a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Team player
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. or more
• Must be comfortable working in a shop environment with ability to sit, stand, squat, stoop, kneel, bend and twist repetitively throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and motivation to learn and grow professionally

Compensation:

**Hourly pay range is $22 to $28**
