Bilingual Spanish Language Arts Teacher-
Middle School Dual Language This teacher will instruct grade 6-7 students enrolled in the Spanish Dual Language program in the field of Spanish Language Arts (SLA). The SLA teacher will incorporate culturally responsive teaching pedagogy. The course load will include sections taught in Spanish and providing English as a Second Language (ESL) support in content areas. Common planning time, curriculum planning time, and coaching will be provided.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must forward cover letter, resume, transcripts, proof of MA DESE license and SEI and/or Bilingual Endorsement as well as three current letters of recommendation.
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Education for the grade(s) and subject(s) assigned including SEI Endorsement and/or Bilingual Endorsement. Demonstrated subject matter competence, highly qualified, in Spanish as World Language grades 5-8. Currency in the curriculum including knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
