Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking a General Maintenance team member who is hardworking and positive!

They will be responsible for maintaining both internal and external facilities for different venues in the region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in making sure the venues in the region are tour ready by ensuring their curb appeal.

• Perform and oversee the routine maintenance and repairs, are completed in a timely manner.

• Identify, report, and correct safety hazards.

• Assist with special projects to support maintenance and operational goals

• Prioritize guest experience by delivering exceptional maintenance service and support at the venue level

• Maintain required inventory of materials.

• Work closely with the General Managers/Venue Directors to resolve any venue maintenance and landscaping issues.

• Efficiently schedules own time and activities with such tools as daily to-do lists, weekly schedules, and lists of items requiring attention.

• Ensure the completion of any task as assigned by the Regional Manager.

• Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times.

• Job Hours:

  • Full-Time, Hourly, Mon to Fri

  • Ability to work all Weekends/Nights and Holidays as needed

• Pay: $18-$20 per hour

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent

• Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience performing maintenance tasks

• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours

• Other:

  • Submit to a background check, have a valid drivers license

  • Must have your own vehicle and be willing to drive between different locations
