Walnut Creek Country Club is Hiring a Dishwasher Near South Lyon, MI
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, enjoy people, are self-motivated with a drive to exceed expectations. Experience is a plus, but is not necessary. Must have professional appearance and attitude, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality. Candidates must be available to work, a combination of weekends, evenings and some holidays.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized dish area.
- Empties and cleans dish machine and dish area as needed. Leaves area clean, dry and sanitized with all plate ware, glass ware, equipment restocked to appropriate areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed throughout the day and at the end of the shift.
- Remove boxes and trash throughout the shift as needed.
- Restock any necessary materials required to maintain compliance.
- Consult with Chefs for food preparation and cleaning duties that are to be completed during shift.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
- Requires full mobility for entire duration of shift.
- Varying environmentally controlled temperatures from kitchen area and coolers.
- Uniforms are professionally cleaned and laundered and for all kitchen staff.
- Employee meals are available up to 2 times a day.
