Bases Loaded-The Baseball & Softball Superstore in Rancho Cordova, CA is growing and we are looking to hire Full-Time & Part-Time Shipping Associates to join our team. We are looking for long-term permanent employees not seasonal or temporary help. No Recruiters!!! Starting hourly wage depends on experience and is $18 - $22 an hour.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Baseball and/or Softball or Sporting Goods Experience a plus
Previous Retail/Warehouse Experience a plus
Friendly, Outgoing Enthusiastic Personality
Strong Work Ethic
Stand for extended periods of time primarily entire shift (6-8 hours)
Maintain a positive, customer-centric attitude by listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to exceptional customer service
Communicate effectively and professionally with all associates and customers
Read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation
Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling and climbing a ladder; ability to lift and/or move up to 50 (fifty)pounds at any given time
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Ability to climb a ladder and lift materials overhead
All returns completed daily including refunds, checking product back into inventory, returns in point-of-sale, proper retagging of inventory, and correspondence with customers
UPC & label verification
Prepare merchandise for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, verifying inventory and quantity for accuracy and labeling
Shipping - Generate shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments (creating labels using various shipping software)
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner to hit our commitments to our customers
Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Ship to complete Monday through Friday
Great attention to detail to limit errors in shipping, receiving and processing returns
