Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications. Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Utilize hospital and aseptic techniques to ensure the accuracy and sterility of medication preparations
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and restocking medication shelves
- Assist in the preparation of intravenous (IV) medications, including compounding and labeling
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and patient safety
- Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and offering medication counseling
- Perform medication reconciliation and assist in the review of medication orders for accuracy
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies to maintain compliance

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Active certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and medication administration
- Familiarity with inhale medications and devices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $21.50 per hour
