Meat Team Lead is an onsite position at the store providing leadership to the Meat Department. The team of associates is responsible for driving sales and profitability in the department by ensuring high levels of instock, department cleanliness, proper rotation, and pricing actions to reduce waste. Responsibilities include:

• Manage staffing/scheduling--including hiring and firing as needed--for a team of 6-8 associates
• Monitor associate productivity, team performance against targets using tools and reporting available
• Ensure food safety and compliance procedures are followed
• Communicate goals and motivate associates to reach them
• Conduct courageous conversations with associates to redirect as needed
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems and remain adaptable
• Collaborate with store leaders and peers across the store to ensure plans are in place to serve customers well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
