Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the premises to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities
- Monitor CCTV cameras to identify suspicious behavior or potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Conduct investigations into incidents of theft or loss, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any security-related concerns or inquiries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and interacting with team members and customers
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
