About the role

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, self-motivated, an with an eye for detail. In this position, you will ensure all inventory is organized, and placed in appropriate locations, as well as constantly monitor inventory and ensure it is visually appealing and stocked. You will unload and unpack items, mark/scan items with correct price or control codes, and stock shelves with received inventory. Some customer service may be involved.

Reporting to the Overnight Stocking Team Lead, you will be responsible for making sure that our customers can easily search for and have access to the products they need.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise; removing damaged or out-of-date goods; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; signing and pricing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Maintains inventory accuracy for the facility by binning and picking merchandise; utilizing the inventory management system; completing bin audits; working inventory exceptions; and correcting shelf capacities.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
• Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; arranging and organizing merchandise and supplies; identifying shrink and damages; and maintaining work environment according to company policies and procedures.
• Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer; identifying customer needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving customer issues and concerns; and promoting products and services.

Physical Activities Involved

• Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Moves up and down a ladder.
• Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Visually verifies and reads information, often in small print. Visually locates merchandise and other objects.

Location, commitment and schedule

• Full-time, part-time, or temporary role.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• 10pm to 7am with one hour for lunch.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
