Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy department and providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy operations, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
- Perform medication reconciliation and ensure proper storage of medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program once hired
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) (preferred, but not necessary)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations (preferred, but not necessary)
- Experience in a hospital or critical care pharmacy setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient service
