Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Protection Associate to join our team. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets, employees, and customers. You will play a crucial role in preventing theft, minimizing loss, and maintaining a safe environment. Duties: - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities - Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to monitor activity within the premises - Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action - Investigate incidents of theft or misconduct, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for criminal investigations - Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any security-related concerns or inquiries - Conduct employee training on security protocols and procedures Requirements: - Proven experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field - Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and de-escalation strategies - Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail - Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment - Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and criminal investigation techniques is preferred - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and customers We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
