We are currently seeking an experienced **Shipping/Inventory Clerk** for our fast-paced optical laboratory in St. Paul, MN . This is an excellent opportunity to join our TEAMWe are the #1 independent optical wholesaler in the U.S.!

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for optical laboratory Rx & stock orders.

Duties:

* Retrieve product from inventory for Rx / stock processing.

* Access and interpret reports within software program respective to inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, et.al

* Proactively communicate delays and issues to branch partners in a cordial and professional manner.

* Assist with shipping tasks including packaging and creating labels when needed.

* Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

* High School diploma, GED or equivalent

* 2 yrs. work experience commensurate with position requirements

* Must be highly detail-oriented

* Ability to meet and maintain deadlines

* Good organizational and communication skills

* Basic PC/keyboard skills required

* General Ophthalmic knowledge and DVI experience preferred, but not required

* Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
