Wally's Operating Company LLC is Hiring an Overnight Operations Manager Near Pontiac, IL

Summary

Responsible for achieving successful established standards, goals and overall exceptional guest satisfaction. Responsible for overnight operations across all departments, assist with personnel management by providing administrative support, personnel management support, and operational support. The successful candidate would collaborate with department managers and assist with achieving overnight operational goals for each department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Must also be able to perform store manager functions as necessary.
 Exhibit the Wally's culture and hold each team member accountable to those same standards.
Provide each team member coaching and assist in evaluations. Give each team member a path to grow with the company. 
Daily store walks with detailed plans that can be delegated to team members and leaders.
Ensure guest service is a 10 in every area of the store, placing team members in other areas of the store if necessary and personally working in any area as needed.
 Oversee the retail execution and stocking process throughout the store.
Reviews customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and customer address.

Determines staff hours, number of personnel, and parts and equipment required for service call.

Prepares schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes or to specific repair and maintenance work.

Arranges for transportation of machines and equipment to customer's location for installation or from customer's location to shop for repairs that cannot be performed on premises.

Keeps records of work hours and parts utilized, and work performed for each service call.

Requisitions replacement parts and supplies.

Contacts service personnel over radio or telephone to obtain or give information and directions regarding service or installation activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises various team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Reports to assistant store manager.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Project Management software; Internet software and Human Resource systems.
