JOB SUMMARY

The Auto Body Detailer is primarily responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring quality detailing work on vehicles is completed in a timely fashion, and tracking materials, time and repairs for proper job completion.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• H.S. diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year reconditioning experience

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must be reliable and have attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):

• No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES

• Follow all service orders and procedures in a timely and safe manner.
• Advise the Auto Manager on any issues.
• Polishing, waxing and buffing of vehicles.
• Appropriately apply and use chemicals for their intended use on vehicles.
• Adhere and promote the safety standards of the shop area.
• Use of proper equipment and care when working on customer vehicles.
• Oversee that the shop area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Performs Wallwork Inc. wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor
• Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures
