Heavy Equipment Operator: Excavator/Loader

Compensation: $30 per hour

Our ever-growing company is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Team.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekly hours vary and can include overtime and weekends. This position will be working Valley wide.

A successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic who is reliable and dependable.

Operator position does require manual labor such as shoveling, so individuals must be able to endure physical labor especially in the Arizona summer.

Overview of Duties

• Operator will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of grading procedures while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
• Operate and coordinate the grading process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to grading guidelines and deadlines
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in grading
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Experience/Requirements

• Previous equipment operator experience is a MUST
• Heavy equipment operation: 1 year min
• Must have the ability to work in tight congested construction sites
• Have the ability to read and interpret grade stakes.
• The ability to read grading plans is a definite plus
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk and use equipment for extended periods of time
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements
• Must be able to work safety in all surroundings, and with team members
• Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position
• Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to work and take direction
