Ideally, candidates will have factory training and/or I-Car training from OEM’s such as, BMW, Tesla, Lucid, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Rivian, Porsche, Volkswagen, Ford, Subaru, Nissan, GM, and others OEM’s.
Our state-of-the-art repair facility is climate controlled and certified or recognized by 25 OEM brands/programs and counting. We provide our technicians with the best tooling and equipment the industry offers to increase their productivity and reduce the frustration of not having the right tool to perform the repair! Equipment includes the following: Celette Sevenne, Celette Sevenne XL, Celette Cameleon, Naja 3D, Car-O-Liner 6300 Bench & Measuring System, Pro-Spot Welders, GYS Welders, Fronius Welders, Chief Goliath Frame Bench, Chief Laserlock Measuring System, VAS specific tooling, Wieländer Schill (welders, Xpress 800 & attachments, battery table, body repair tools etc.), Robinair, Fume Extractor, Sanding Systems, Flush Mount Scissor Lifts, Hunter Alignment System, TKR Rivet Gun, Garmat and Accudraft booths, and much much more!
Our technicians are responsible for performing repairs according to manufacturer repair procedures and each vehicle’s repair plan. This position interacts with all collision center staff (repair planners, support staff, parts associates, detail team, and other technicians), service managers/advisors, collision center management/owners, and OEM representatives. Other core responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Review damage to vehicle to identify all accident-related damage and other service/safety work that should be performed, as well as identify unrelated prior damage
· Perform work according to manufacturer (OEM) repair procedures and vehicle’s repair plan
· Effectively communicate with all team members
· Follow all of our collision center’s repair processes, including quality control measures
· Document repairs (with photographs) as repairs progress
· Perform welding, rivet bonding, 3D measuring, soldering, body alignment, and repairs according to OEM and facility standards
· Use basic mathematical skills for measurements and mixing materials
· Maintain clean and orderly work environment
· Possess a positive attitude and work well with others, be a team player
· Operate all equipment and repairs in a safe manner
· Have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
· Ability and willingness to travel for training and industry events
