Purpose : Handle receiving of incoming shipments and domestic outgoing shipments by checking them physically

Primary Responsibilities :

Duties include, but are not limited to :

Essential Functions :

• Check incoming products for defects and accuracy
• Ensure that quantity, serial and batch numbers match the product
• Handle space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areas
• Ensure posting of deliveries ERP
• Notify recipient that delivery has been made
• Verify accuracy of domestic orders by matching them with quantities and types
• Ensure that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times
• Count daily cycles of assigned areas
• Take part in year-end and general inventory procedures
• Organize records of goods shipped
• Process and maintain all forms / reports for all domestic orders leaving facility.
• Enter all ship list items into ERP computer system to adjust inventory level create invoices, bill of lading.
• Coordinate packaging for domestic shipments.
• Obtain releases, confirm customer requirements
• Schedule pick ups
• Enter paperwork in ERP system for record retention

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must have previous experience working in a shipping department with the same or similar job duties.
• Computer knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to operate various types of forklifts and other mechanical machinery.
