The Director, People Strategic Initiatives will lead and oversee a variety of strategic projects within the People Team. This role will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing strategic initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and transformation that touch every part of our employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR and people processes, strong project management skills, and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives across a complex organizational environment.

What You'll Own

  • Partner with Talent Management to develop and deliver a variety of strategic projects related to people strategy, including talent management, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and HR technology.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to define project objectives, scope, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project objectives with business strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and apply these learnings to future projects.
  • Develop compelling and impactful presentations for senior stakeholders including the C-Suite & Board. 
  • Stay current with the latest trends and innovations in HR to drive continuous improvement in people processes and operations.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a people strategy or consulting role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with a detailed knowledge of talent management and organizational development strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and leadership at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment and are able to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Act as a change agent to drive large scale improvements through exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong data and analytics skills, with an ability to leverage data-driven insights to craft a compelling story.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR-related software and platforms (such as WorkDay, Peakon, Tableau) 
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or HR (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $160,000 and $200,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and RSUs as part of our competitive total rewards package.
