Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main goal will be to enhance the dining experience by delivering prompt and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Process payments and provide accurate change to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including dining areas, tables, and service stations
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a server is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking abilities
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required
