Store Receptionist Responsibilities:
The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
- Answers telephones in a courteous manner and takes clear messages for salespersons/store staff/Store Manager as needed.
- Assists Store Manager in escalated customer service issues.
- Assists customers with questions in person and over phone.
- Processes load outs for customers.
- Notifies customers of incoming merchandise when it arrives.
- Schedules customer deliveries and types up delivery sheets.
- Assists main office with variety of sale and store operation questions.
- Reviews invoices for accuracy.
- Processes and distributes interoffice memos.
- Makes copies and sorts new forms, financing explanation sheets, etc.
- Types up letters/memos for office/Store Manager, as necessary.
- Assists in processing financing information for customers and running financing when furniture is delivered/loaded out.
- Processes merchandise returns and assists in submitting credit vouchers.
- Assists Store Manager with monthly sales, inventory, and office reports.
- Shops for office supplies when necessary.
- Makes as needed arrangements and preparations for store meetings.
- Schedules various appointments, maintains calendar, and allocates supervisor’s time.

Qualifications:
- Good customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior customer service experience, specifically working with the public, is required.
- Prior experience working as a receptionist or customer service representative is preferred.
- This position regularly requires the ability to but not limited to standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, and reaching.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position located in Coeur d' Alene, ID with a work schedule of Tuesday through Saturday. The hours in general are 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Compensation & Benefits
- The pay range is $17-$18 per hour depending on experience.
