We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service. The position will be working directly with contractors and other customers to take and follow up on lumber, doors, windows, and other miscellaneous orders. This position will also be working with rental customers in doing rental contracts and loading/unloading rental equipment. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Major Task and Responsibilities:

- Sell Lumber and Building Materials

- Assist with rental sales

- Assist the front area when needed

- Other task as assigned

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Cross-sell products

• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role preferred but not required
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• High school degree

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.50 per hour
