Knute Nelson Walker Methodist (KNWM) River is a HUD subsidized apartment building for independent older adults located in Anoka.

KNWM River is recruiting for a Housing Manager to oversee all operations of the community, to include budget, physical plant, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service, staff supervision, mediation and compliance with state, federal and HUD rules and regulations.

Schedule:

Full-time Days

Minimum qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human services or business administration or 3 years of prior HUD property management experience
• Apartment leasing and marketing and referral of resources to tenant experience
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws and principles
• Ability to work independently and self-starter
• Leadership and management experience
• HUD or related government assistance programs experience preferred
• Attention to detail, good general math and computer skills
• Good judgment and solid follow-through decision-making skills
• Ability to encourage and coordinate a positive community social environment
• Ability to live the Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
