Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Behavior Analyst, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to develop behavioral support plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, their caregivers and their families.
Duties:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of individualized behavior support plans
- Conduct direct care giver training on the behavior support plan
- Connect individuals with other therapeutic supports, and collaborate with other specialist, such as counselors and psychiatris.
- Collect and review data on client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the care team members to develop and modify behavior plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field is required. Masters degree or BCBA is preferred.
- Experience working with adults with disabilities, specifically assessing and developing behavior interventions
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis
- Understanding of developmental disabilities and their impact on behavior
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in medical terminology is a plus
