Waldon Adelman Castilla McNamara & Prout is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting attorneys in the various aspects of litigation related to case preparation, management, and execution
  • Obtains, reviews, analyzes, and summarizes legal documentation pertaining to cases
  • Schedules depositions and other meetings with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, court reporters and others
  • Identifies, locates, interviews, and evaluates potential experts and sends expert packages to parties for review
  • Tracks requests for documents and regularly follows up on progress of receipt
  • Documents files and updates clients when necessary regarding status of case
  • Prepare draft discovery documents
  • Files documents with the various courts
  • Enters billable time into computer on a daily basis
  • Remains flexible and open to requests for support or assistance outside of the scope of this job description and to other duties as directed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
  • NetDocuments software experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
