We are an upscale country club looking for a Pantry Chef to learn and grown in a friendly and low stress environment. We are a kitchen of culinarians who are always looking to expand our own knowledge and skill, preparing and executing the best food we can. Our many events and parties are a welcome change from the grind of a normal restaurant, and provide a lot of unique opportunities to experience different ways of cooking.

We are looking for a Pantry Chef to prepare and cook food according to a recipe and ensure high levels of quality. We are looking for someone responsible, who can effectively manage your personal and professional time. We expect you to be committed to detail and have good people management skills. You will prepare food according to our recipes, ensuring consistency in preparation. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, as you’ll need to convey details about the recipe to the team during meal preparation. The goal is to offer delicious and quality meals to our members.

Responsibilities:

• Manage time and work responsibly, showing up on time and when scheduled.
• Read recipes, follow directions and prepare food in the kitchen.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and supplies.
• Manage inventory of food and supplies.
• Ensure health and safety of self, co-workers and guests by following food handling codes.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures for refrigeration, storage of chemicals etc..
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
