We are seeking a Full-Time Adult Clinician to join our team in Waltham, MA. The Adult Clinician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director. 

Hours/Shift: Full-Time; 40h/week (5 days/week - one of those days must be Saturday). Schedule will also include at least one evening/week. Hybrid Position to include a partial caseload from our virtual Rainbow Road Program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide clinical social work and case management in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and the NASW.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, utilization review, and discharge planning for an average of 8 patients. Part of the caseload will include assisting Rainbow Road, our program for LGBTQIA clients. 
• Manage cases in both the partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs for eating disorders.
• Manage cases for primarily the adult population with an expectation of some coverage in the adolescent programs.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
• Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and profession manner.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum.

Qualifications:

Education:

• PhD, PsyD, Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program

Licensure/Certification:

• Independent License, preferred
• CPR certification, required

Knowledge:

• Must have strong clinical, organizational and communication skill. Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
