Job Description: Construction Superintendent
Commercial Real Estate Development Company is seeking a Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for their development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction activities to ensure project adherence to plans and quality standards.
- Delegate tasks efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections.
- Provide progress reports to management and clients.
- Monitor project schedules and address delays.
- Assist in cost control measures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Address permit and code issues.
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure timeframes.
- Assist project manager in preparation of schedules and safety plan, and solving issues that arise on jobsites.
- Attend all job-related meetings.
Qualifications:
- 9 years experience
- Proven experience as a Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations.
