Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while meeting high-quality standards. Experience working on hospital construction projects is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate and oversee all onsite activities
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and interpret project blueprints
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications
Skills:
- Proficiency in OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong background in construction management
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and schedules effectively
- Experience in quality control processes
- Familiarity with Primavera software for project management
- Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Skill in supervising construction teams effectively
- Knowledge of Prolog software for construction project management
