Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination: Lead and coordinate associates in your area of responsibility. Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide feedback. Teach, support, and model Logistics and company policies.
- Associate Engagement: Foster a culture of learning and teamwork. Provide cross-training opportunities and support associate development. Build strong relationships within and across teams.
- Workload Management: Monitor work plans, workloads, and associates to meet deadlines. Proactively solve problems and resolve delays to ensure schedules are maintained.
- Task Prioritization: Complete and prioritize work assignments by collaborating with various stakeholders. Adapt to change, address improvement opportunities, and ensure tasks align with business expectations.
- Problem Resolution: Help resolve day-to-day associate challenges by effective communication with the area manager. Provide subject matter expertise and support to address concerns promptly.
- Process Improvement: Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs. Collaborate with teams, analyze information, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance and Ethics: Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Implement action plans and utilize the Open Door Policy to address ethical and compliance issues.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and participate in teams. Use resources, share information, and provide guidance to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved. Model adaptability and inspire others to embrace change.
Qualifications:
- Leadership or supervisory role in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment.
- 6 months experience as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR 1 year's experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR 2 or more years of college in a Business or related field.
