Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is Hiring a Maintenance Technician I Near Crawfordville, FL
The BoCC seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Maintenance Technician I position in the Wakulla County Facilities Department.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsibilities include mowing County Parks and Facilities, weeding and mulching landscape beds. Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs. Removing unwanted or damaged trees. Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees. Watering gardens and landscapes Inspect the irrigation system to confirm good working order. Monitor and maintain plant health. Perform Park Cleaning and Maintenance as needed. Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment. Document completed assignments and work locations.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
A generous benefits package with a potential value of up to $30,000 annually. Full-time employee benefits include employer-sponsored health insurance ($5/month employee only, $305/month whole family), $50,000 sponsored life insurance, and short-term disability. Up to 15% of salary contribution to Florida Retirement System, Paid Time Off including holiday, vacation, sick, parental, and bereavement leave.
