JOB SUMMARY: Assists guests at the Guest Services Center by providing information about the Medical Center and solving their inquiries.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent with three years of work experience. University courses in communications or psychology preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Helps guests by solving problems and providing information.
- Guides visitors to different areas of the Medical Center.
- Shares information about Medical Center policies and procedures.
- Uses computer systems to find requested information.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with Medical Center layout and services.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Clean, well-lit, comfortable surroundings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May involve standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, using fingers, talking, hearing, and seeing.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs. maximum.
