Embark on a rewarding journey as a Registered Nurse Life Support Educator ( full time, days ) with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Registered Nurse Life Support Educator Instructs educational offerings to a variety of healthcare professionals as well as laypersons in the Health System community. You'll serve as a consultant on current emergency care management issues, and provide education and consultation to the age of the population served.

What You’ll Need:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with teaching and leadership experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health and/or adult education related field with three years' experience in critical care and/or emergency services preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in State of North Carolina required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor required.
• TNCC, ENPC, ITLS, PITLS, NRP Instructor preferred.
EMT and EMT Instructor preferred.

• Instructs select educational offerings for Health System personnel, other healthcare professionals and community laypersons that enhance effectiveness of emergent health care delivery.
• Assists with course instruction and patient care management for the Code 44 Team to ensure effective delivery of emergent care.
• Develops and fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and team effort on the part of all health care professionals participating in emergent patient care.
• Ensures the quality of professional services by updating knowledge and skills and continuing professional growth.
• Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for specific age groups served.
