Baler Operators will report to the Supervisor and be responsible for operating and maintaining the Baler system and the Baler room according to the standards specified in the customer's contract.

A. Education: High School diploma or GED.

B. Experience: One to three years working in a similar warehouse or manufacturing environment operating a baler and/or having small engine mechanical repair experience. Experience using a Squeeze Clamp Fork Truck and/or Scissor Lift preferred.

C. Knowledge/Experience/Skills: The Baler Operator must be able to speak and read English, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. The ability to safely operate a Fork Truck is an important skill. He or she must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors in a non-air-conditioned building. The ability to follow directions and work responsibly by oneself is an important skill.
