Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers with enthusiasm as they enter the restaurant
• Accurately and efficiently process customer orders using our POS system
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and security at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas
• Assist in packaging and bagging orders for takeout and delivery customers
• Provide information about menu items, promotions, and specials to customers as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to uphold a clean and safe environment.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by the manager

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for the entire shift and able to lift 50 pounds
• Practice established food handling procedures and meet any local health regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
