Waeco Construction is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join our growing engineering team here in Monroe, Washington. We specialize in the Telecommunication engineering and Construction industry since 2007 and are looking to add a dynamic addition to our team.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in the construction or utility installation field.

Your Role

• Proficient in AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT with the ability to create 2D fiber installation drawings and manage projects specific to customer needs
• Familiarity with and the ability to create Traffic Control Plans (TCP's)
• Create base maps using GIS data
• Research municipality web sites for design standards and GIS data
• Track, manage and update AutoCAD drawings from project kick-off through final permitting
• Ability to work on multiple jobs at one time
• Research product information as needed to ensure accurate and complete drawings
• Detailed oriented individual with strong organizational skills
• Excellent drafting, written and verbal communication skills, able to work with a team environment
• Proficient in Excel and Word

Your Qualifications

• Previous utility construction experience encouraged but not required
• Prior experience in Microsoft office applications
• Experience in Bluebeam (PDF editing program)
• Monday.com (Workflow management system)
• A self-managed, positive attitude, works well in an open setting and strong communication skills

Salary range is between $25-$35hr DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
