Obtains blood specimens from patient.
Transports, receives, and distributes specimens to workstation.
Educates Medical Technology students, new employees, patient care techs, and paramedics on basic blood collection procedures.
Provides safe practices for patients in all aspects of patient care activities.
All other duties required by department director.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills: High school diploma/GED. Completed Phlebotomy class and completed lab assistance training. BLS.
Licensure: None
Experience: A minimum of phlebotomy experience obtained in phlebotomy class.
Salary: $9.03-$12.94
