WAC Lighting Company is Hiring a Warehouse Picker Near Lithia Springs, GA
- Pick orders with attention to accuracy and special instructions. This includes gathering all UL/ETL labeling for specific jobs.
- Prepare and verify all orders are complete and correctly staged by priority/order type.
- Properly stage jobs in the correct warehouse location.
- Distribute and separate scheduled/daily jobs for specific assembly operators.
- Operate RF scanner to pick material by SKU/Batch.
- Use SAP to print/manage production orders.
- Verify quantity of components and labels picked.
- Report defective material or questionable condition to department lead/ supervisor/manager.
- Count and verify primary picking areas as needed.
- Collect and document all scrapped materials as needed.
- Assist with the workflow to ensure all priority and aging jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and the facility.
- Requirements:
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to shoulder height
- Ability to work standing and walking for long period of time.
- 5 years warehouse experience, Forklift / Cherry Picker / Power Jack experience is a plus
- Computer literate
- Solid organization and follow up skills.
Take a proactive approach to ensure continuous improvement in Safety, Quality and Productivity. - Demonstrate ability to read and follow RF scanner in order to pick material accurately.
