Position Description
The dedicated Tracking Unit employee is focused on the successful installation of tracking units and related pairing / association activities to ensure end customers know where their asset (trailer) is and that all tracking unit options / add-ons are functioning properly.
The position will mainly reside at End of Line, performing the standard duties with a high use of the latest telematic technologies.
Deficiencies found are reported to proper channels to close the loop and maintain high first-time throughput. The employee would also need critical thinking skills to enable them to troubleshoot issues real-time or in the finished trailer lot assisting with repairs.
Overall characteristics for the role is the eagerness to learn, retain information, a love for technology, and think critically.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Training, Skills and / or Experience :
Experience and education are great to come into this position with. However, it's not required, here at Wabash, we give you the training to become comfortable in any the position.
Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you'll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

Physical Demands
As an employee focused on tracking unit installations, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle and operate tools or controls for the length of their entire shift and sometimes from ladders.
Most work will entail use of an Ipad or similar device. The employee needs full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.
