Overview

Heavy Equipment Operator $22 to $28 

The Operator will be responsible for operating equipment safely and efficiently on a daily basis. Equipment operations may include skid steer, small loader, large wheel loader, forklift, man-lift, dozer, and excavator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for feeding plant and loading trucks or stockpiling with large wheel loader, excavator, or dozer. 
• Perform general housekeeping, fueling, and greasing of equipment, crushing plants, and conveyors. 
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on equipment such as conveyor bearding changes and belt splices. 
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all site personnel and management. 
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies., including MSHA 
• Perform maintenance that may involve manual labor such as the use of shovels and fire hoses for clean up during plant down time. 
• All other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS 

This position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Applicant must be at least 18 years old. 

Ability to follow instructions. 

1 year of running heavy equipment
